Charles C. Ragin, brother of Richard and John H. Ragin, was given July Ragin in the Will of his father, Charles C. in turn left July Ragin in his Will to his brother Richard Ragin. Will recorded Sep 2 1848, Will Book D 2 page 253. Charles C. Ragin also had other slaves which Richard aquired: Charlotte, Maddison, Rufus, Washington, Emma, Preston, Harmone, Martha, Amanda, Charles, Richard, John, Harriette, Old Harriette, Abram, Mary, Aaron and Allister, all the family of July and Charlotte Ragin.
