Santee A.M.E. Church
This cemetery is located in Clarendon County, S.C. about 20 miles southwest of Manning. The area was investigated on March 9 1940 and found to be out of the area to be affected by water of the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion.
Scott Lake Cemetery
This cemetery was located on the banks of Scott's Lake near Fort Watson in Clarendon County, S.C.. At the time of the inventory, August 10, 1939, it was located on property owned by Robert Smythe, et al, and there was no evidence of the area ever having been a cemetery. Though personal interview with local residents, cemetery investigators learned the names of five individuals believed to have been buried there.Unmarked graves

When the cemetery was determined to be above the serverance line of the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion, and in no danger from water, it was left undisturbed.
Society Hill Cemetery
This cemetery was located on the old river road about 15 miles southeast of Greeleyville and about 14 miles southeast of Summerton in Clarendon County, S.C. At the time of the inventory, January 17 1941, it was on the property owned by G.T. Floyd. The unfenced cemetery contained 16 marked graves and an unknown number of unmarked graves. It was badly neglected and overgrown with grass and brush. Through personal interview with local residents, cemetery investigators learned the names of 156 individuals believed to have been buried in this cemetery.Marked graves

Advertisement for this cemetery began January 22 1941, in the Manning Times, and continued for four consecutive weesk as required by law. There was no response and when it was determined that the cemetery would be in danger of wave erosion from waters of the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion, 256 graves and 16 markers were moved to property owned by the Authority located 11 miles south of Manning on SC Highway 260.
Taw Caw Cemetery
This cemetery was located in Clarendon County, S.C. about eight miles southeast of Summerton. At the time of the inventory the property was owned by C.S. Maree. There were an undetermined number of unknown graves. The names of 16 individuals believed to have been buried in this cemetery were determined by personal interview with local residents.Unmarked Graves

Bachus McBride was married to Dinah. Dolly McBride was married to Monday Ragin and she was the daughter of Lucretia Lawson McBride. (Lucretia and March McBride were the parents of Edmund Vaughn). Jonnie (John) McBride was the son of Bachus McBride. Gabrella McBride Johnson was the daughter of Dolly McBride Ragin. Lucy Frierson was the wife of Isaac Frierson. She was born 1800 and Isaac born in 1792. Amy (Amanda) McBride was the daughter of Jane McBride who was the daughter of Lucretia Lawson McBride. Sam McBride was the son of Solomon and Janet McBride. Solomon was the son of Bachus McBride and Dinah.
The area is above the 75' contour near the severance line and the graves were left undisturbed. Today it is near the waters of the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion.
Tom Boger Cemetery
This cemetery is located in Clarendon County, S.C. about five miles south of St. Paul, and east of US 15 highway on property owned by the Boger Estate. At the time of the inventory, October 2 1939, there was no fence and the area was very much neglected being overgrown with trees and brush. The cemetery covered about one acre and contained two grave markers and an undetermined number of unknown graves.
Boger, Harriott age 80 years d. July 31 1925 wife of Thomas Boger.

The area is above the 75' contour in a forested and protected location, but within the severance line. Today the area is on property owned by the Authority and near the waters of the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion.
These were some of the names that I obtained from death certificates, Ellerson House died July 19, 1936, son of Theodore and Mary (Robinson ) House, Soney House died November 20, 1919, son of Theodore and Mary (Lawson) House, Rebecca McBride died June 17, 1942, she was the daughter of Sophia Ballet or Ballard.

Wyboo (Wiboo) Cemetery
This old abandoned cemetery is located in Clarendon County, S. C., about 13 miles south of Manning and 15 miles southwest of Greeleyville. It is on high land along Wyboo swamp on old Wyboo Plantation. At the time of the inventory, August 30, 1939, the property was owned by G.T, Floyd. It contained an unknown number of unmarked graves. The cemetery is outside the Santee Reservoir, Lake Marion, and was left undisturbed.
